Control and monitor 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 Reed relay outputs via any USB connection with the ELK-UDIO8221. Inputs can range from 5-30VDC, while the Reed relays provide long life switch closures well suited to low current devices. Inputs and outputs are grouped into four-bit segments that each share a common for easy wiring via removable 3.5mm terminal blocks. ELK-UDIO8221 module is housed in a rugged, attractive plastic enclosure and include a highly-retentive USB Type B connector to prevent accidental disconnection. The ELK-UDIO8221 is USB bus powered, so no external power supply is needed. Standard operating temperature range of these modules is 0°C to 70°C and extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) is optional. The software suite supports this family and is designed to work with third party applications via the API. Installation and operation is easy using Windows 2000/XP/Vista operating system.
