The ELK-USMPS series is specially engineered to protect your PC system from unstable main power source, harmful spikes / surges or even total blackouts. ELK-USMPS series integrity design has remark features to improve the reliability power source of your PC system. Now, you don't need an expansive, outboard, independent External UPS. ELK-USMPS series can be adapted to most computer cases on the market. Just bolt-on and hook-up like a conventional power supply & a 5.25" FDD(Battery Pack). And, your PC will have reliable protection. ELK-USMPS series offer an option ELK-RUPS data-protection utility. The ELK-RUPS utility can automatically shutdown power after saving data to Hard Disk Drive. Idea for standalone PC, LAN files servers and LAN remote stations, the ELK-USMPS series delivers 250 / 400 watts of DC power to the computer and another AC 140W (Max.) power to the 14" ~ 21" Color Monitor, equivalent to a typical 500VA external UPS. By combining the function of a DC power and On-line UPS into a single integrated unit, the ELK-USMPS series does not only save space, but also provides the most reliable, cost-effective computer power protection available today.
This specification describes the performance characteristics of ELK-USMPS-300V4 of 300W and 6 outputs switching power supply in ATX 2.03 form factor with battery backup function. This series power supply is designed as standard products that meet the “Intel ATX +12V Ver. 1.3” requirements, also comply with EN61000-3-2 and EN61000-3-3.
Important Notice Before Install
1. To fully charge the battery for the first time it is used, allow the power cord to remain plugged in a full 24 hours. Normal time to recharge the battery to its full capacity is 10 ~ 15 hours.
2. If there is a defect in the battery pack, the UPS will not function. Contact ASAN ST's technical engineer. ( But, switching power supply still can function.)
