The ELK-PC3512 high-speed serial interface module provides the PC/104 system with a direct high-speed RS-232/422/485/530/503A/V.35 Sync/Async link to instruments requiring extremely fast data flow. The RS-422 communication standard allows the ELK-PC3512 to communicate reliably at high speeds under harsh conditions, making it an ideal solution for industrial environments. Line noise, present in industrial environments, is eliminated over the RS-422 line. By utilizing RS-422, factory applications requiring long distance communications operate with high data integrity.
