| Designed to be versatile and adaptable, the ELK-VS(Vision Switch) provides a complete 16x16 video crosspoint switch within a single PCI plug-in card. Larger switch sizes are also possible by adding a second ELK-VS(Vision Switch) card to produce either a 32x16 or 16 x 32 switch. ELK-VS(Vision Switch) is supplied with driver software for Windows® NT, 2000 and Windows® XP. A simple and intuitive Windows application program is provided enabling users to control the crosspoint switch or, for users who wish to control ELK-VS(Vision Switch) from their own software, an SDK is also provided. Vision Switch may also be used with theELK-Horizon4VW range of multi-screen graphics adapters. In this configuration ELK-VS(Vision Switch) is connected to the Horizon via inter-card ribbon cables, enabling the Horizon video overlay's to select 1 of 16 possible video sources. A single ELK-VS(Vision Switch) card will support up to four ELK-Horizon4VW graphics adapters. |

4 on card 20 way ribbon headers enabling the connection of upto 4 ELK-Horizon Cards

2 on card 20 way ribbon headers for connection to a second ELK-VS(Vision Switch) Card |

The ELK-Horizon driver software detects the presence of the ELK-VS(Vision Switch) and automatically controls the video switch, expanding the input capabilities for each video overlay from 4 inputs, as standard, to 16 or 32 by using either 1 or 2 ELK-VS(Vision Switch) cards. |
