ASAN ST's 7 Slot 64-bit/33MHz PCI-to-PCI Expansion System accommodates seven full-length 32-bit or 64-bit PCI cards in a separate enclosure (Rack-mount or Tower) that connects to a VME computer through an available PMC slot. With PCI Expansion Technology, everything installed in the enclosure actually acts as if it's inside the host computer. This is accomplished by the expansion system communicating to the host via a 1 or 1.5 meter cable and a 'universal' PMC host interface card providing up to a 264MB/second data transfer rate between the host computer and the hardware within the expansion chassis.
Easy installation... install PMC host interface card using any available PMC connectors on your VME computer, connect the cables, add your PCI cards and power up. No driver is required. Available in Rack-mount to cost-effective Tower enclosure. Non-Enclosed Board Sets are available for OEMs and System Integrators.
