Now you can use your favorite notebook computer in the same capacity as you would use a full-size desktop machine.

ASAN ST's 1 Slot CardBus-to-PCI Expansion Systems provide a single full-length or half-length PCI slot in a separate enclosure (chassis) that connects to a PC Notebook or Apple PowerBook (which do not have built-in PCI slots) through a 32-bit CardBus slot. With ASAN ST's PCI Expansion Technology, everything installed in the enclosure actually acts as if it's inside the notebook.

▶시스템의 요구조건: CardBus Interface Card는 Type II입니다.
대부분의 PC Notebook과 Apple Powerbooks와 호환성이 좋습니다. TI (Texas Instruments) CardBus controller chip을 사용하는 Notebook은 우수한 성능을 제공하지만, Ricoh CardBus controller chip을 사용하는 Notebook은 성능이 떨어집니다. Mac사용자는 PowerBook G3(Pismo - Bronze keyboard with Firewire ports), 15" PowerBook G4 (Titanium - 400Mhz to current), 17" PowerBook G4(Titanium)와 호환성이 있습니다.
▶㈜아산에스티는 Ricoh CardBus Controller를 사용하는 Laptop 또는 Notebook 컴퓨터 사용을 추천하지 않습니다. 불행하게도 Sony Vaio와 몇몇 컴퓨터 제조업체는 Ricoh CardBus Controller를 사용합니다. 몇 가지 낮은 대역폭(Bandwidth) 애플리케이션에서는 동작하지만, 어떤 애플리케이션에서는 전혀 동작을 하지 않습니다. 어떤 애플리케이션에서 동작을 한다면, 성능의 문제가 있을 수 있습니다.
