The ELK-cPCI5040/5080 Series are specially designed as computer based embedded controller enclosure for mission critical and high reliability applications. The enclosure is about 8U height to accommodate an industry standard 6U CompactPCI front boards up to 4/8 slots (one system with 3/7 peripheral I/O slots.) Very concisely mechanical arrangement provides the minimum necessary space when integrating the enclosure into machine or vehicles. Non-blocked ventilation design with hot-swappable fan(s) provides the best system cooling efficiency and easy maintenance capability. Built-in high quality backplane ELK-cBP3204/ELK-cBP3208 provides the 32-bit cPCI bus running at 33MHz speed with best impedance control and full range compatibility. The combination with ELK-cPSBC6770 series CPU board provides computing power up to Pentium-III- 850MHz with lower power dissipation.
